1. It is the duty of CMUH to design the fostering education, continuing education and lifelong education of medical staff. China Medical University Hospital has built talents all over the world, witnessing the development of Taiwan medicine. Currently CMUH trains about 300 residents each year with over 800 medical staff trained under the two-year clinical medical staff training program. CMUH also conducts external training for more than one hundred physicians from Taiwan and abroad and medical staff, 600 medical intern students from Taiwan, nearly 2,000 interns and intern students in Taiwan, and nearly 100 intern students from abroad.
2. In view of the increase in excessive professionalism and derived medical costs as well as impractical study and training, CMUH cooperates with the medical school to provide course integration and various types of small-size instruction, intensifying general education and attitude education. CMUH also cooperates with the policy to design the fostering education in general medical training and holistic medical care as well as developing the medical elites in Taiwan in the 21st century.
3. With regards to the cultivation of attending doctor, we take action in strengthening the clinical and fundamental medical knowledge and analytical capacity of physicians based on existing solid foundation and developing their self-lifelong learning spirit to become the backbone in medical team work.
4. CMUH also values and requires highly for the development and lifelong continuing education of administrative managers. CMUH expects the concept and creativity of the new century from the managers and officers, who can contribute their talents in different fields of expertise, helping each other and creating a new century of Taiwan medical and biomedical technology
5. CMUH has upheld to continuous and incessant philosophy of improvement in terms of talent cultivation and has been recognized with the Gold Medal in Taiwan Talent Quality-management System (TTQS) from the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor.
