Professor Yi Yu Tsai is a doctorate in Medicine, who specializes in: Cataract surgery, diagnosis and treatment of cornea diseases and cornea transplant. In 2009, Professor Tsai was the first to introduce corneal endothelial cells transplant, which successfully cured the torment of his patient. Professor Tsai has a remarkable record in treating patients with cornea related diseases. He has been working at the Hospital since 1998 and has abundance of clinical experience. Actively undergoing clinical and base medicine research, Professor Yi Yu Tsai has published a great number of medical papers for international journals.

Doctor Hui-Ju Lin's expertise includes: cataract surgery, strabismus/amblyopia surgery and eyelid surgery. Dr. Lin particularly specializes in strabismus/amblyopia treatment and orthokeratology for myopia control. Each year, Dr. Lin handles more than 100 cases of cataract surgery, and more than one hundred cases, more than 100 cases of eyelid surgery, and more than 200 cases of strabismus surgery. Dr. Lin is also one of the earliest physicians to study the ortho-plastic surgery. With 20 years of experience in amblyopia treatment and retinopathy of prematurity, Dr. Lin continues on fundamental medical research and attainment of the latest medical knowledge incessantly.

Each year, Dr. Chen handles more than 100 cases of retinal surgery. Even with 20 years of experience in the treatment of retinopathy, Dr. Chen still continues on attainment of the latest medical knowledge incessantly.

Assistant Professor Chun-Chi Chiang is an expert in corneal and eye surgery. His expertise includes: corneal transplantation and treatment of keratopathy, keratoconus, corneal dystrophy, corneal opacity, keratitis, and corneal ulcers. The ocular plastic surgery is conducted mainly to treat ocular diseases on the exterior part of the eye, including ptosis, trichiasis (inverted eyelashes), nasolacrimal duct obstruction, etc. Dr. Chiang has served in our hospital since 2001 with a wealth of experience in clinical treatment. She has been engaged in fundamental medical research without interruption, and he has contributed to the latest medical knowledge by publishing medical papers in major international periodicals.

Doctor Chun-Ju Lin is a senior ophthalmologist with a wealth of experience in the latest minimally invasive vitrectomy surgery. More than 90% of the ophthalmic patients have undergone the minimally invasive vitrectomy. Each year, Dr. Lin handles more than 300 cases of cataract surgery. Each year, there are over 200 cases of minimally invasive vitrectomy. Ophthalmic patients can have access to the more friendly, faster and better retinal vitreous surgery services. Dr. Lin also provides services such as ophthalmic plastic surgery, treatment of general eye diseases, and children's vision care. Peng-Tai Tien

Doctor Peng-Tai Tien focuses on clinical treatment of retinal and macular diseases. He has extensive experience in treatment of retinal detachment, vitreous hemorrhage, macular holes and macular dehiscence with minimally invasive suture incision vitrectomy. Dr. Tian is also skilled in image interpretation and treatment of retinal diseases, such as eye-stroke, age-related macular degeneration, polypoid choroidal vasculopathy, macular degeneration with high myopia and diabetic retinopathy. As for the cataract surgery, Dr. Tian also has extensive experience in use of the latest surgical instruments and customization of artificial crystals.
Yi-Ching Hsieh

Doctor Yi-Ching Hsieh's expertise includes: pediatric ophthalmology (general vision care, myopia treatment, strabismus/amblyopia treatment/correction, trichiasis (inverted eyelashes), etc.), corneal diseases (dry eyes, corneal ulcer, corneal opacity, etc.), small incision ultrasound cataract surgery, etc. Also, Dr. Hsieh specializes in visual function training and contact lens fitting. Our hospital currently offers the most complete set of visual function training in Taiwan, including motor training for athletes or children with learning disabilities due to poor visual functions. If there is a need for myopia control, irregular corneal astigmatism or keratoconus, orthokeratology lenses or hard contact lenses are also available. As an excellent physician, Dr. Hsieh always presents friendly and professional attitudes.
