Doctor Chon-Haw Tsai is a professor and the current Director of Department of Neurology. Doctor Tsai was the Attending Physician of Movement Disorders Centre at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. He acquired PhD at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in 1995 and went to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia in 1996 to receive Movement disorder and Electrophysiology training. Doctor Tsai joined us in 2000. His areas of expertise include Parkinson’s disease and Movement disorders (such as tremors, myoclonus), especially on the related Electrophysiology and clinic services of related diseases. His expertise and religious faith has a deep influence on patients and young doctors alike.

Dr. Pei-Ying Pai was a researcher in the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. Dr. Pei-Ying Pai has been serving in China Medical University Hospital since 1989 and was the director of the division of cardiology and the director of the division of general internal medicine. In addition to rich experience, Dr. Pei-Ying Pai is kind and patient, and treat patients as family. Dr. Pei-Ying Pai specializes not only in the diagnoses and treatments of hypertension, heart failure and coronary artery disease (CAD), but also the implementation of heart ultrasound. He has completed more than 10,000 cases of ultrasound examination in recent years.

Dr. Ping-Han Lo specializes in different types of transcatheter interventions including coronary artery stent implantation, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for chronic total occlusion (CTO), carotid artery stenting (CAS), percutaneous balloon dilatation of rheumatic mitral stenosis, catheter-assisted surgery for aortic stenosis (transcatheter aortic valve placement included), catheter ablation for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, transcatheter closure of atrial septal defect in congenital heart disease, LAAC for stroke prevention in AF, PTA in uremic patients on hemodialysis and peripheral vascular stent insertion (renal artery, subclavian artery, iliac artery, femoral artery and vertebral artery)

Dr. Hsin-Yueh Liang had received 4-year echocardiography training in Mayo clinic and Johns Hopkins University in the United States and became a professional member in American Heart Association. Afterwards, she proactively promoted advanced echocardiography and was invited to deliver presentations on annual medical conferences. She performs about 2500 chest ultrasound examinations, 350 stress echocardiographies and 250 transesophageal echocardiographies every year. Since 2013, she has devoted herself to treating patients, utilizing the interventional transesophageal echocardiography, with other physicians specializing in cardiac catheterization. In 2017, she introduced the techniques of contrast-enhanced ultrasound to help CMUH link up with international standards in the echocardiography.

Dr. Chung-Ho Hsu specializes in various cardiovascular diseases, especially cardiac catheterization. Transcatheter cardiopulmonary interventional treatment include: 1) coronary balloon dilatation and stent placement, 2) carotid and peripheral vascular treatment, and 3) arrhythmia, radiofrequency electrical cautery and so on. The development of cardiac catheterization has led to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine and created many alternatives to surgery to reduce the suffering of patients with cardiovascular diseases and prolong the life of patients more effectively

Dr. Yu-Chen Wang is the Deputy Secretary-General of Taiwan's Interventional Cardiovascular Medical Association. Dr. Wang received a complete internal medicine and cardiology training at National Taiwan University Hospital. After completing her cardiology training in 2008, she joined the cardiovascular team in our hospital. Dr. Wang is currently a doctorate student at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, and from 2011 to 2012 he went to the Texas Heart Medical Center in the United States to study basic blood lipid and cell biology. Dr. Wang specializes in a wide range of heart diseases, including acute and chronic treatment of coronary artery disease and heart failure, including drug and cardiac catheterization. In addition, Dr. Wang also has a considerable degree of research on preventive medicine in heart disease, including prevention and treatment of hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia. It is hoped that through the complete prevention and treatment, it will effectively enhance the treatment of various cardiovascular diseases so as to reduce the suffering of patients and prolong the life of patients.
