Suffering from “Klippel-Trenaunay-Weber Syndrome”, 5-year-old Vietnamese boy Luu received treatment from an interdisciplinary medical team led by Superintendent Hung-Chi Chen at China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) this March. The treatment costs were covered by Taiwanese company Hong Fu Industrial Group, which has longstanding roots in Vietnam. Having undergone 2 rounds of treatment consisting of 4 different surgeries, Luu recovered very well. Prior to returning to Vietnam, the International Center held a costume farewell party on the 4th to celebrate Luu’s healthy recovery and return to Vietnam.
