At present, the Logistics Center purchases and supplies more than 50 products and over 27,000 units per year, with a total cost of NT$70 million, and serves more than 300 patients in about 20 hospitals across the nation. Thanks to visits paid by officials and experts from the U.S., Canada, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Macao, Malaysia, and India, it is hoped that this institution’s experience in the physical delivery and operation can serve as a reference for other countries in the world for the benefit of patients with rare diseases.
